Soak your oats!


Why you should involve oatmeal into your diet plan:


  • oatmeal can help you control your weight - it contains soluble fiber which makes you feel full
  • oatmeal contains a wide array of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants
  • oatmeal may reduce the risk for type 2 diabetes
  • oatmeal may help reduce high blood pressure
  • oatmeal is quick and convenient
  • add fruits to your oatmeal for the most delicious breakfast

Why you should soak your oats:


Oats contain phytic acid. Phytic acid is a substance that reduces our absorption of minerals such as calcium, iron, zinc and magnesium. If you can reduce the Phytic Acid in your food, you can improve your iron absorption. Well, now it comes to soaking! It allows enzyme to break down and neutralize phytic acid and also your digestive system will thank you for it because it helps your body to digest easy.



Oats Chia Mixture recipe


30 grams oatmeal flakes
1 tsp chia seeds
120 ml milk of choice (I use almond milk or soy milk)


Soak oatmeal flakes and chia seeds for at least 2 hours in milk. The longer, the better. Overnight is the best! Easy!!
