A little something... Cheesecake in a Jar

Yesterday was one of my friend's birthday. I didn't want to bake bland and boring muffins or a run-of-the-mill cake....I had the idea of making something special. My friend is passionate about cooking and he loves good food.

I made a cheesecake in a jar....for the first time. And it turned out real delicious!

For the crust I used crushed wholemeal crackers and mixed them with melted butter. The filling is cream cheese mixed with eggs, sour cream, sugar, vanilla extract and flour. I garnished the cheesecake with a homemade raspberry sauce and strawberries. Yum yum!

As I bought a big pack of crackers, cream cheese and sour cream and lots of strawberries I made more cheesecake jars ;)
