Easy Vegan Matcha Latte


Matcha is full of antioxidants and vitamins! It's the superfood of tea. Mixed with your favorite plant-based milk it's gonna be your superpower! Matcha contains more than 1500 antioxidants per gram and that's A LOT compared to e.g. goji berries which contain 250 antioxidants per gram. 


This recipe is super easy. Your matcha latte is done in only 5 minutes! I like to drink it hot, but iced matcha is a great option too! So the most important thing is that you use high quality matcha and I tell you, expensive matcha powder doesn't mean that it is high quality. The only matcha I use is Matcha Supermodel's Secret by KISSA. Oh and this is not a sponsored post. I absolutely love the brand.

Easy Matcha Latte
Enjoy hot or cold!

Yield: 1 serving
Ingredients
    LATTE
  • 2 tsp matcha powder
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 250 ml almond milk

  • IF YOU LIKE IT COLD AS ICE
  • a handful ice

  • OPTIONAL ADD ONS
  • a dash of lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp maca powder

Instructions

ICE ICE BABY 1. Add matcha powder to your blender + almond milk, maple syrup and ice cubes.2. Mix until matcha is completely dissolved. 3. Pour matcha latte into a glass and enjoy immediately :)

HOT MATCHA

1. Add matcha powder to your blender along with 100 ml of the almond milk and maple syrup.2. Heat rest of the almond milk and use a handheld frother to get a froth.3. Pour matcha latte into a mug, then add the warm almond milk and make the perfect latte art :)
