The Blonde Bird Signature Granola

Is this really my first blog post? waaaahhhh!!

And first thing you should know about me is that I love breakfast, especially granola for breakfast.

When I was in Los Angeles I stayed at a really nice hotel in Culver City. They served the most delicious granola ever. I asked the chef for the recipe and he gave me a list of ingredients, that was it. When I got back home I simply tried to bake it the way I think was right. I first used a pan. Don't do this! It's gonna be a mess!
After experimenting a bit I had the crunchy granola I was looking for.

And here is the recipe!

Have fun, lovelies!

You'll need

600 grams oatmeal flakes
80 grams coconut oil, melted
120 grams maple syrup
10 grams brown sugar (optional)
60 grams coconut flakes
a pinch of cinnamon
a pinch of salt
80 grams almonds
40 grams dried cranberries

1. Measure oatmeal flakes, melted coconut
oil, maple syrup, brown sugar, 40 grams coconut
flakes and cinnamon into a large bowl.

2. Stir!!!!

3. Spread mixture out on a baking sheet.

4. Bake in the oven at 160 degrees celsius. Bake 35-40 minutes
and stir a bit after every 10 minutes until granola is golden.

5. Let granola cool down.

6. Add rest of the coconut flakes, then
add almonds and cranberries and mix well.

Love, C
