Everything Smoothie!

I like having a smoothie for breakfast, lunch AND dinner. If I could I would use smoothies as a replacement for a meal every day, but it just doesn't fit in my daily plan ;) But, it is good for your body to do a juice/smoothie cleanse every now and then. Detoxing, oh yes!

Especially during Christmas and New Years we tend to eat and drink too much. Oh hello, you yummie Christmas cookies and Vanille Kipferl. My grandma makes the best cookies and I just can't stop eating them. Best, BEST cookies, I swear.

For the New Year I will post a 3 day juice cleanse you all can try out. I will do the cleanse in the first or second week of January (not sure yet) - I will keep you updated.

So when time allows - make juices/smoothies at home! Use a blender or juice extractor and mix together fruits and veggies you have at home. 

Here is a smoothie I made lately: 


Green layer
1 kiwi 
2 sticks celery 
a handful spinach
1 tsp wheatgrass powder

Yellow layer
1/2 banana 
1 tsp maca powder

Red layer
1/2 beet root 
1/2 banana 
1 apple

with my homemade granola on top!


Blend all 3 layer separately with water. Pour the smoothies into the Mason Jar. Decorate it with a slice of pineapple. Voilà!
