Pulled Jackfruit

The sandwich is filled with avocado, baby spinach, tomato humus, tomatoes, almond cheese & jackfruit. So good! Enjoy!

Pulled Jackfruit

- 560 g jackfruit, canned
- 1 onion
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 100 g BBQ sauce
- salt and pepper


1. Drain jackfruit and cut in smaller pieces.2. In a pan heat olive oil over medium heat, add chopped onions & saute for a couple of minutes.3. Add jackfruit and water and let simmer until jackfruit is soft. 4. Rinse, put everything back into the pan and use a potato masher to mash jackfruit into pulled "meat".5. Add BBQ sauce and salt and pepper. Spread pulled jackfruit evenly and put it in the oven for about 20 minutes at 180 degrees C or until it gets crispy. Voilà!!
